THE STORY SO FAR
Shanbally House and Gardens had fallen into disrepair when Noel and Bridget Duggan (née O’Meara) purchased the estate in 2013. Noel and Bridget could see that the walled garden and two hundred acres of land were ideally suited to growing selected medicinal plants, organic vegetables & as an oaisis for an escape into nature. Their sentiments for the site and its rich history, paired with a firm commitment to achieving health through nature, moved Noel and Bridget to restore this Georgian estate to its former glory.

Shanbally opened as an exclusive venue in 2020 with it's first large scale event for over 3,000 people, Elevate Fit Fest, taking place in August 2023 & running as an annual event each summer thereafter.

Sadly, three weeks post Elevate 2023, Noel Duggan passed away from a short illness. The Duggan family retain ownership of Shanbally and are determined to continue Noel's legacy by fulfilling the vision of ensuring Shanbally's ethos of health through nature is maintained
